“Inferno”

Fingal Head Sand Pumping Jetty | NSW Panorama

Every time I look at this image I am just blown away. As soon as I saw it first stitched together as a panorama I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face.

The full resolution of this image is 18,000 pixels wide which is HUGE for a photograph and with this much resolution and clarity, it looks amazing in print. I love the way that this image shows the rays of light bursting up through the clouds which were reflecting the amazing colour 360 degrees around, it was truly stunning to watch.

On this shoot, I initially started photographing around the jetty as my main subject and as the sun started rising and the clouds started turning from pink, to red to this lovely orange tone I ran over to the price of driftwood that was perfectly placed to create a foreground in this panorama.
